Sebastian Bentley | Psychologist
BPsych(Hons), DPsych (Clinical & Sports)
I was drawn to psychology through my fascination for how people think, feel, and perform. That curiosity grew into a professional passion for helping people better understand themselves and work toward meaningful change.
I work with people experiencing:

Sebastian Bentley | Psychologist
- Depression and low mood
- Anxiety (including social anxiety, and panic-related symptoms)
- Coping with big life changes
- Existential issues
- Stress including managing work-related stress and burnout
- Grief and loss
- Low self-esteem and perfectionism
- Relationship and interpersonal difficulties
- Body image concerns (including eating disorders)
- Trauma including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex/developmental trauma
My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I draw on evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and integrate insights from neuropsychotherapy and schema therapy. I use a holistic and eclectic approach, tailoring therapy to the individual.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where clients feel free to explore challenges and move toward their own definitions of success. I value humour and a playful nature as part of the process. Therapy can be serious, but it can also be energising and even fun.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy getting out in nature and being active, whether its running, cycling or surfing.
Clients often describe me as approachable and down-to-earth and as someone who brings kindness, encouragement, and honesty into every session.
