Our supervisors aim to create a safe, reflective and encouraging space for supervisees to explore their own therapeutic style and professional identity, identify strengths and weaknesses, and work towards specific professional goals. Supervision provides a debriefing opportunity to manage the stress and complexity of the profession and opportunity to address any transference or counter transference and offer skill building. Supervision also provides a space to celebrate the highlights and rewarding shifts supervisees may see within themselves professionally and clients.

We aim to assist supervisees to meet their own specific goals to meet core competencies required with AHPRA of knowledge of the discipline, exploring and dealing with any ethical dilemmas, comprehensive psychological assessment, measurement and formulations, exploring therapy interventions, research and evaluation, professional communications, cultural, age and LGBTQIA sensitivity.

Our supervisors are approved by AHPRA Psychology Board for:

-Higher degree placement supervisor

-Working in addition to placements supervisor

-Registrar program principal and secondary supervisor (clinical psychology and Ed and Dev).
