Before we start therapy as a couple, we’ll kick things off with the Assessment Phase. After completing your Relationship Assessment, we’ll team up to create a personalised plan for moving forward. Learn more about the assessment process below.

Intensive Couples Therapy – What is it?

Embark on a transformative journey with our Intensive Couples Therapy, a highly sought-after and effective approach for couples navigating relationship challenges. This comprehensive process is designed to stabilise relationships and pave the way for a more satisfying and joyful life together, comprised of four key phases:

This involves completing the Gottman Connect questionnaire, engaging in baseline conversations, and participating in personalised sessions. Receive detailed feedback highlighting strengths and challenges, followed by collaborative goal-setting.

Phase 2 – Therapy: If determined that intensive sessions are beneficial, schedule six weekly sessions of 90 minutes focused on resolving conflicts, addressing hurts, and enhancing understanding.

Phase 3 – Integration: Implement newfound skills and strategies at home, supported by fortnightly follow-up appointments to ensure consistent application.

Phase 4 – Relapse Prevention: As confidence grows, transition to monthly check-ins, gradually extending to 3-monthly and 6-monthly sessions for ongoing support in maintaining a strengthened relationship.
