Dr Lauren Hanegraaf | Clinical Psychologist
B.H.Sci, B.Psych (Hons), PhD (Clinical Psychology)

My name is Lauren, and I am a clinical psychologist with a specialised focus on working with adults who are looking to confirm or review a diagnosis of ADHD and/or autism. I have deep commitment to a neuroaffirming approach, and work collaboratively with my clients to help them not only understand their neurodivergent traits but also to recognise and embrace their unique strengths, interests, and talents.
Through the ADHD and/or autism assessments I conduct here at Foundation Psychology, I seek to provide individuals with an understanding of their unique neurotype in order to empower them to live fully authentic and fulfilling lives. I believe in creating a warm, supportive, and empathetic space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. My clients often describe me as approachable, warm and compassionate, with a genuine desire to understand their unique perspectives.
I have completed a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. at Monash University, where I gained comprehensive training and a strong foundation in the psychological assessment and treatment of neurodivergent individuals. My experience spans across both public and private healthcare settings, providing me with the versatility to work with a wide range of clients and challenges. Over the course of my career, I have developed expertise in conducting adult neurodivergent assessments, and I continue to stay at the forefront of research through ongoing professional development.
