Emma Booth | Clinical Psychologist

I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience working in public, private and nonprofit mental health settings. I bring a mix of empathy, expertise, and a sprinkle of humour to my practice, which occurs through collaboration and non-judgment to create a safe and welcoming space for clients to share their stories.
I am passionate about empowering young people to choose therapy goals based on what meaningful personal change looks like for them. Recognising the distinct challenges faced by young minds, I enjoy creating personalised treatment plans designed to build confidence and competence in navigating their unique situation.
My therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT-informed therapy), Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I help young people aged 12+ and emerging adults experiencing a range of presenting concerns, including:
- Mood disorders
- Anxiety disorders
- Borderline personality disorder
- Complex trauma
- Disordered eating and body image concerns
- Obsessive compulsive disorder
- Body dysmorphia
- Phobias
- Psychotic disorders
