Ashley Depasquale | Psychologist
BPsych (Hons), MPsych (Clinical), MAPS
As a psychologist I use a warm and empathic approach and aim to create a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space. I work with all individuals across the life span, and have a particular interest in working with young people to support them in navigating the unique challenges they face.
I have a particular interests in working with:
- Adolescent issues
- Low self-esteem
- Depression
- Anxiety disorders (general anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks)
- School and workplace stress
- Sleep issues
In addition to working with the above, I have an interest and passion in working with women with issues surrounding their sexual health. These areas include:
- Sexual pain and vaginismus
- Relationship and intimacy difficulties
- Sexual identity
- Arousal and orgasm difficulties
I draw on a number of evidence-based interventions to support the needs of the individuals I work with, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness. I also believe in using a strengths-based approach to empower the individual to realise their potential and strengths.
I am currently a Clinical Psychology Registrar undertaking advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders.
